What Details Can You Edit?
As per the official NTA guidelines, candidates can modify specific fields in their application form. However, certain primary details may remain locked. Common editable fields include:
- Academic Details: Class 10th and 12th marks or passing year.
- Category: Changes in Category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/General) may require an additional fee.
- Examination City: Preference of exam centers can be updated.
- Medium of Examination: Change between English, Hindi, or other regional languages.
- Course Selection: Adding B.Arch or B.Planning to your existing B.E./B.Tech application.
Correction Fee: While some changes are free, a change in category or adding a paper will require the payment of an additional balance fee through Net Banking/Credit Card/UPI.
How to Access JEE Main Correction Window?
- Visit the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the 'Registration/Login for Session 2' link.
- Enter your Application Number and Password.
- Look for the 'Correction in Application Form' button and click it.
- Modify the required fields and click on 'Submit'.
- Pay the additional fee (if applicable) and download the revised Confirmation Page.
